Ideally with experience of working in IT sales you will have experience of selling IT solutions and IT Support Contract to business customers. The ideal applicant will be hard working with excellent communication skills. We are especially keen to hear from anyone who is currently working for an IT Reseller.

Learning Outcomes and Assessment Criteria IT Tech Sales (course outline)

Successful Microsoft Gold Partner ADM Computing are seeking an enthusiastic, hard working young individual between the ages of 17-23 years of age in or around the Canterbury area. The successful candidate will need to have the following…

  • Minimum A-C GCSE grades or equivalent
  • Have a keen interest in Sales / Marketing for a growing IT company of approximately 50 members of staff
  • Great telephone manner
  • Between the ages of 17-23
  • Needs to be presentable, we will be running Seminars, Hosting Events and visiting clients

Experience in customer relations and sales will be an advantage, the role will involve the following duties…

  • Lead generation by email, phone and face to face
  • Attending several events representing the company
  • Helping with the organisation of seminars
  • Data cleansing of our CRM system

The successful applicant will need an excellent telephone manner and most importantly not be worried about getting on the phone and talking to potential clients.

For approximately 1 week a month the successful candidate will be required to attend college in London (with fees paid for by ADM Computing) for the Microsoft Partner IT Technical Sales Apprenticeship Program. To be in for a chance of this role the candidate will need to pass a short telephone interview with the college.

Preferably someone with experience but the possibility of Junior Technician is also available

  • Printer setup & maintenance
  • Helpdesk experience useful
  • Solid networking knowledge

Supply chain assistant  

The successful applicant would be answering to the operations manager with some knowledge of SQL/Access.

The available salary is £16-18k (more towards the higher end of this range for a more experienced person).
