Strategic advice and outsourced specialist IT skills
This precision engineering firm had used ADM for support for nearly ten years when the business was acquired by an overseas parent. The new management team was introduced to the business in 2013 and they wanted to outsource the IT function in order to get access to a broad range of specialist skills and expert implementation capability. ADM’s service track record meant they were awarded the contract and, alongside the support function, started to provide delivery of projects and strategic advice.

After discussions with ADM’s IT Advisors, the Office 365 platform was selected as being the most suitable for their needs, and ADM also recommend included on-site storage for files and documents and as a home for the firm’s active directory. This system was installed across the firm’s three offices in Kent.

Packaged on-site solution and on-going support for manufacturer
Since its beginnings in the mid-1950’s this client has become one of the leading fabricators within the infrastructure industry, specialising in manufacturing and installing steel bridges and gantries. Their aging infrastructure had served them well, but was now starting to show its age. Some of the applications that it hosted were suffering from the underlying equipment being unreliable. With the key software package being the accounts platform, this was causing concern within the management team.
