It’s that time of year again when we ask for your help in selecting ADM’s ‘Engineer of the Year 2006’. Click here to view this years nominations.

As most of you will by now know, the Award was first introduced in 2001 to acknowledge the company’s recognition, in the main, of high standards of workmanship, together with the provision of a high standard of customer care.

Examples are:- an individual who has throughout the year provided an exceptional level of customer service; demonstrated a sense of responsibility (i.e. ownership of ongoing queries/problems until their ultimate conclusion); a good communicator; going that ‘extra mile’ when required to do so;

Our customers voting, together with the criteria also prepared by our Managing Director, Adrian Bryant and Human Resources Director Linda Sinclair, relating in particular to the engineers’ day-to-day responsibilities, as carried out in the workplace, will be evaluated.

The winner will be announced at the ADM Christmas Party on 22nd December and the deserving engineer will be presented with a handsome trophy, together with the prize of a 1 week’s holiday in the Mediterranean for 2. The runner up will receive a weekend European City break.

In closing, may I add this exercise is also part of ADM’s continuing journey towards excellence in service and our desire to surpass client expectations.
