Cause for Celebration - ADM Announces Engineer of the Year 2008

Two members of ADM staff had reason to celebrate when the names of the Engineers of the Year 2009 were announced this week. ADM Computing is no stranger to Customer Service Awards and has been running the Engineer of the Year Award since 2001. The Engineer of the Year Award offers ADM engineers individual recognition for their continual commitment to optimum service.

Nominations were received from the customers and staff of ADM Computing, and after the votes were cast, the Engineer of Year Award went to John Jones, who had the choice of £300 cash prize or an extra week’s holiday. John, who has a newborn daughter, opted for the extra week’s holiday.  In second place was John’s colleague, Wilfred Wood, who won a cash bonus of £150.

Linda Sinclair, Customer Services Director at ADM Computing, said:  “Our customers were quite unanimous in their choice of Engineer of the Year as John has proved a popular figure with them throughout the year.  However, a number of our customers also commented they found it difficult to make their final decision which suggests to us that the level of service generally provided is of a high standard, which, of course, is pleasing.”

Managing Director of ADM, Adrian Bryant, adds: “Without the staff’s dedication to all our valued customers, we would not have been in the position to have achieved the customer service success we have experienced.  The Engineer of the Year Award was devised and organised by Linda Sinclair and myself to thank the engineers for all the hard work they have put in during the year, and it appears to be attracting more interest each year.”
