With their SBS at end of life this long-established professional firm of accountants and tax advisers based in Chatham, Kent, needed to move to another platform.
The firm has specialist staff covering all aspects of business, and prides itself on having a higher ratio of fully qualified staff than any other local firm, providing high-level, experienced staff to manage their client relationships. The Cloud was not considered to be suitable at this point in time, as the client didn’t feel comfortable with it as a solution.
They needed a flexible system that would accommodate a seasonally fluctuating user-count, and allow external access whenever internet access became problematic.
With this fully supported client, ADM provided an on-premise local file and print server to replace the original local file element, and replaced the SBS with IRIS, a suitable LoB app, moving to a new physical platform with two virtual servers to host SQL and IRIS.
