The Security Onion – ADM Computing’s approach to layered security, modern cyber threats and best business practices

Join us on Thursday 19th March 2020, where we’ll be joined by guest speaker Aimee Payne – Kent Police Protect and Prevent Officer, alongside ADM’s cybersecurity experts and Advanced Cyber Essentials Practitioners, Mark Philip & John Brodhurst where we’ll be providing a complete overview of the current threat landscape and the range of approaches you can adopt to protect your business.

The half-day event will start with Aimee giving an overview of modern cyber threats facing businesses. This will be followed by Mark explaining ADM’s Security Onion, our best practice layered approach to security that we employ ourselves and therefore acts an excellent recommendation for businesses. Finally, John will be providing an overview of the increasingly important, Cyber Essentials accreditation, and how this fits together with the Security Onion.

Using a best practice layered security strategy, you can protect your organisation from modern cyber threats whilst also working towards becoming Cyber Essentials accredited. Layered security is all about mitigating the risks from differing threat vectors, but at the same time encouraging best business practices and solutions that empower your business.

In addition to our great speakers, the wider ADM team will also be on hand to discuss what would be the best fit for your business.
