Cyber Insurance 101: What you need to know

Event Details

In a world where cyber threats are constantly changing, having cyber insurance in place can help your organisation when it comes to managing cyber incidents (such as ransomware, data breaches), and minimising business disruption, and even providing financial protection during an incident.

But the world of cyber insurance has changed a lot in recent years- and organisations are now being required to prove that they have systems in place to minimise the risk of potential cyber-attacks, before being approved for cyber insurance.

In addition to steeper requirements for attaining cyber-insurance, in the event that a cyber intrusion does occur, organisations may also be required to demonstrate that they have these systems in place, and prove that your company did everything possible to prevent the attack.

In this session, we hope to help you understand and address the complexity and requirements around cyber insurance.

During this session, we will be exploring:

  • What are the differences between regular insurance and cyber insurance?
  • What are the requirements for cyber insurance?
  • Is cyber insurance enough protection for your business?
  • The expansion of MFA into more hardware
  • Penetration Tests
  • Cyber Essentials
  • … and more!
