Phishing in the Age of AI: Inside a Modern Attack

Event Details

Phishing attacks are no longer easy to spot. With the rise of AI, attackers are producing messages that look genuine, timely, and increasingly convincing, often bypassing traditional technical controls and catching well informed users off guard.

In this in person session at ADM’s offices, we will explore how phishing is changing in the age of AI and why the human layer has become one of the most critical parts of an organisation’s cyber defence.

Led by Lucy Read, Service Engineer at ADM and our in house specialist on security awareness and phishing resilience, the session will include a live phishing demonstration, showing how modern attacks are constructed, delivered, and interacted with in real world environments.

We will look at what organisations are getting wrong, where assumptions about user behaviour fall down, and how businesses can build stronger, more resilient teams without relying on fear based training or tick box compliance.

Using KnowBe4 as a practical example, we will also cover how continuous testing, education, and coaching can help organisations measure risk, improve behaviour over time, and reduce the likelihood of successful attacks.

This session is designed for business leaders, IT managers, and anyone responsible for managing cyber risk, particularly where staff behaviour and supply chain exposure are a concern.

Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how phishing has evolved, what realistic defence looks like today, and practical steps they can take to strengthen the human layer within their organisation.
